During festivals, especially Lunar New Year, many local believers would head to Tai Po Lam Tsuen to pray for good luck at the Wishing Tree. This work is a continuation of “Made in Heaven” which was exhibited at “Enchanted with Western Market – Art Exhibition of Chinese and Western Wedding” with HULU Culture in 2013. Inspired by the traditional lion dance, this unconventional sacred beast will add upon the festive spirit of Lam Tsuen during New Year.
